Flowers Convey Feelings of Love, Appreciation And More

Something nice for my girlfriend, long distance relationship?
So I really miss her today... I just found out I might not be able to visit her over the weekend..... But I want to do something nice for her, not like order flowers or something like that. I want to make her something, I've already made her a poem, I just don't know what else to do, I really want to see her today, and making her thing makes me feel better. I'm tired of sitting around doing nothing, I want to make her smile when I see her again.

Order flowers online?
Has anyone tried this before? I live far away from my gf, and it's impossible for me to deliver the flowers myself. I'm wondering whether the flowers ordered online will remain fresh at delivery.

How can I move forward from my failed relationship with my Mother? PLEASE help, I'm REALLY upset!!?
Hi everyone, I know this is long, but please read! I have felt this way for a while now, but have been trying to suppress it, and continue on with our relationship. There have been many incidents over the years which have made me question how authentic our relationship is, but I never really worried too much. I'm 21 years old. I guess this bigger downward spiral begun earlier this year. We have Mother's Day in May in Australia, and that's when it all began. I'd gone to a lot of effort to organize gifts for my Mother, as my brother was interstate with work. I ordered flowers to have delivered to the house, bought her a really nice card, and made up a really nice food hamper for her with her favourite food. It cost me a lot of money, and I used my savings that I've collected from various birthdays etc to pay for it. I was planning to give it to my Mother, but ended up letting it go because of the way she treated me. We were going on a picnic, and my parents both just kept making fun of how I don't have a boyfriend, but that this other girl we know (let's call her Sarah) does. I got sick of it, and just left. I left the hamper in my wardrobe. I was even accused of taking her money to pay for it, which I didn't do. A few months later I overheard Mum saying that she'd been gossiping/talking behind my back to her friend (who is Sarah's Mum). She'd talked about how I left on Mother's Day, and what happened there, and also saying that my illnesses (I have Arnold Chiari Malformation and Lupus) are a burden. I confronted her about it, and she denied it, but I told her what I'd heard. I tried to get her to tell me the truth about what else she had talked about, but she said there was nothing else. I knew there was more. I told her that I'd really appreciate it if she no longer saw this friend because I'm hurt, betrayed and humiliated by what Mum had said to her. She agreed she wouldn't, and we left it there. Yesterday, Mum was talking about this particular friend again and what she'd said etc to Dad. I was in the same room, and asked if they'd caught up. Mum said they'd just bumped into each other on the local shopping strip, and talked for a minute or two, as this friend of hers had to rush off to see her elderly Father, and do some shopping. Mum said she just went down to get the dry cleaning. I overheard her saying to Dad this morning that she really had met up with her friend, and I was really angry and hurt. Mum said I can't control who she is friends with, and when I said I was hurt that she lied to me - she said "I don't care - be hurt!" It has made me realize that our relationship is going nowhere and I really don't care for it anymore. The difficult part is that I'm ill, while trying to study at university, and I have no choice but to live with her at the moment. I'm even going in for Lupus related surgery next week. Mum happily cares for me, but lies to me and betrays me in every other way. She is always trying to organize outings for the two of us, and that's why I don't understand why she constantly betrays me. She has lied about many other things too. I'll list some examples: - She hid a packet of chips under the sink for her to eat, because she didn't want me to eat them. - When I was in hospital having brain surgery, the nurses didn't like her staying late, so she lied to me, and said she would be back later, but never came. She admitted to lying about that later. There are many other examples, but I'm running out of room. She constantly lies. As for my other family members, my older brother (28 years old) lives away from home and is busy pursuing his career, while my Dad is often interstate with work. My Dad is aggressive and rude to me anyway. I don't know what to do. I wish I could have a normal, healthy and close relationship with my Mother , but I just don't feel like that's possible anymore. How can I move forward from our failed relationship? What should I do? Thank you!
